What The Site Does Not Collect

Madrid Bike Tours has no accounts, no checkout and no newsletter sign-up, so it collects no names, no payment details and no booking information. The site cannot see which tours you booked, what you paid, or when you are travelling. It does not ask for your date of birth, address or phone number, and it has no form that stores personal data. The only way to share anything personal is to send it by email yourself.

Email You Send

If you write to info@madridbiketours.org, the message and your return address are kept only to answer you. Emails are not added to mailing lists, sold, or shared with operators or platforms. Please do not send payment details, ID copies or booking confirmations; they are not needed and should stay out of email.

Standard Web Analytics And Server Logs

Like most websites, this site may use standard analytics and keeps server logs. These record things such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type and referral source. The data is aggregated and used to understand which tour pages are read; it is not used to build individual profiles. The site also runs a three-question tour picker, which works by matching your answers to tour data; your answers are processed to show a result and are not tied to an identity.

What Happens When You Click Out

Clicking a tour card takes you to a booking platform. From that moment you are on the platform's site and under its privacy policy, not this one. The affiliate tag in the link tells the platform where the visit came from so the commission can be attributed; what the platform does with that and with your subsequent booking is governed by its own policy, which is worth reading before you pay.

Your Data Rights

Because the site holds almost nothing, there is little to exercise, but you can ask what, if anything, is held about you, request deletion, or object to processing by emailing info@madridbiketours.org. If analytics or logs contain an IP address tied to a visit, that data ages out on standard retention cycles.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with the wording revised accordingly. Continued use of the site after a change amounts to acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried in edits.
